**CHÂTEAU MORREAU**
House Rules
Any reservation is subject to the acceptance of these rules by the client and users.
Tobacco, Pets, Damages, and Lost Keys
We are a completely non-smoking establishment. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the hotel, including the rooms.
Smoking areas are provided in various locations outside. We reserve the right to charge a €1000 fine to any guest who smokes in the room and to deny them future access to the château. We cannot tolerate exceptions. Beyond the discomfort for other guests, it necessitates a complete cleaning of all textiles in the room and a closure of the room for 2 days (resulting in a loss of operation).
Except for guide dogs, pets are not accepted in the establishment.
An exception can be made for dogs weighing less than 12 kg, provided an express request is made in advance. The fee for the pet is € 60,00,- per night.
We ask you to respect the premises, as well as the decoration of your room and the common areas. In case of a problem, the client will be held civilly liable. During your stay, you will be given a set of keys that allows free access to your room. In case of loss, the replacement of the lock will be billed at € 250.00.,-
By making a reservation, you assume full responsibility for all persons in your group. Any damages caused will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking, with a minimum of €100.
Arrival and Departure
The reception is not open 24/7. Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
For any late arrivals, please contact us by phone so we can provide you with the access details for the château.
If not done online, payment for your stay will be required upon arrival.
Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM on the morning of your departure. A late check-out is sometimes possible depending on financial arrangements made with the reception.
Access to Rooms
Rooms are available from 4:00 PM and must be vacated by 11:00 AM.
Beyond these times, the château reserves the right to charge an additional fee.
**Persons with Reduced Mobility**
Our château is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
Visitor Policy
Rooms are designed for two people. To ensure the safety rules of the establishment, you cannot accommodate additional persons under any circumstances.
Breakfast
It is served between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM in the designated room and is not included in the price unless otherwise stated.
Noise
To respect the rest of other guests, please avoid slamming doors and making too much noise, especially after 10:00 PM.
Valuables
The château disclaims all responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Please ensure that you have locked your room before leaving it.
If desired, a safe is available in the room.
General Sales Conditions
Reservation Conditions
Any reservation to be firm and definitive must be guaranteed by a credit card number accompanied by its expiration date.
Management reserves the right to refuse any reservation if the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation incomplete.
All reservations are held until 7:00 PM, after which the Château may dispose of the reserved rooms unless the client has notified the management of a late arrival.
All reservations constitute firm orders.
Cancellation or Modification of Reservation
If you need to cancel or modify your reservation after confirmation, cancellation fees will apply:
The client can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 3 days before arrival.
The client must pay the total amount of the reservation if they cancel within 3 days before arrival.
If the client does not show up, they must pay the total amount of the reservation.
Non-refundable: The client must pay the total amount of the reservation if they cancel at any time.
If you shorten your stay once arrived, you will be charged at the normal rate unless the room can be resold.
All cancellations must be sent by email to info@chateaumorreau.com.
In case of interruption of stay, early departure, or no-show, it will be considered a total cancellation of your reservation. No refund will be made; the reserved stay is due in full.
The specific conditions applicable by certain online booking platforms remain in effect in the case of orders via these sites but do not alter the application of these rules.
We remind our esteemed clients that the Château’s house rules apply to all reservations. Accepting the room rental at the indicated price implies acceptance of the specific conditions and the house rules of the B&B.
Force Majeure
Any event external to the parties, having an unpredictable and insurmountable nature that prevents the Château from fulfilling all or part of the obligations provided for in the contract, is considered a case of force majeure.
This is particularly the case in the event of an epidemic, strike, insurrection, riot, prohibitions decreed by governmental or public authorities, or unforeseen damage to the room that cannot be repaired in time.
It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends the execution of the Château’s obligations, and the other party bears the costs resulting from it. Clients will bear any additional costs that may be incurred to continue their journey following the occurrence of a force majeure event.
Private Club Membership Card
By booking a night or an event, you automatically become a private member of Château Morreau, and the conditions apply to the private club where you are a full member for one year.
Member Private Card can be unilaterally retrieved by Chateau Morreau without reason.
