Jumelles<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"677\">These masonry vaults were built alongside the castle in 1895 and extend beneath the forecourt and the grand entrance hall.<\/p><p data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"766\">Original pencil inscriptions remain visible today among the hundreds of wine racks:<\/p><ul data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"826\"><li data-section-id=\"1i5ugn6\" data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"788\">Saint-\u00c9milion 1934<\/li><li data-section-id=\"nnsso\" data-start=\"789\" data-end=\"801\">M\u00e9doc 1937<\/li><li data-section-id=\"mbwy2e\" data-start=\"802\" data-end=\"814\">Bages 1926<\/li><li data-section-id=\"v1eu4b\" data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"826\">Vin Blanc<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"942\">Names, dates, and arrows tell the story of the wines that were stored here nearly a century ago.<\/p><h3>A living time capsule<\/h3><p data-start=\"978\" data-end=\"1070\">What makes these cellars special is not just the vaults or the brick architecture.<\/p><p data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1211\">On several pillars, the original notes from the people who worked here between the two World Wars are still visible.<\/p><p data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1287\">Their handwriting remains legible today, nearly a hundred years later.<\/p><p data-start=\"1289\" data-end=\"1373\">Each marking forms a small
