Flamme d’un Soir
As evening falls over Château Morreau and the last colors of the day fade behind the park, one of the estate's most special moments begins.
In winter, the green salon invites you to an intimate moment around the crackling fireplace. Beneath crystal chandeliers, amidst marble, woodwork, and soft lighting, time seems to stand still for a moment.
In fine weather, the experience moves outdoors, around the fire pit at the edge of the park. Free from street lighting and far from air traffic, an exceptional starry sky unfolds here. Only the soft sound of the fire, the distant call of an owl, and the tranquility of nature accompany the evening.
A selection of fine cheeses, artisanal delicacies, a good glass of wine, champagne, or a carefully chosen digestif completes the moment.
Flamme d’un Soir is not an event.
It is an invitation to slow down, to enjoy each other's company, and to listen once again to the silence.
By reservation and subject to weather conditions.
Une flamme. Un instant. Un souvenir
A Hearth with a Story
The marble fireplace in the green salon has warmed residents and guests of the castle for generations. Since the construction of Château Morreau in 1895, it has formed the heart of the salon, where people gathered for conversation, music, and long evenings by the fire.
Today, the same fire burns again, in the same Belle Époque atmosphere, surrounded by the original architecture and views of the centuries-old park.
More than a century later, the hearth continues to do what it was originally built for: bringing people together.
