Pièce montée

When you wake up in the morning at Château Morreau, the scent of freshly baked bread often already lingers in the castle corridors.

An elegant pièce montée awaits at the table, composed of artisanal products, homemade preparations, fresh fruit, and local specialties.

Simply choose between:

La Baronne Sucrée

A refined selection for lovers of sweet flavors.

La Baronne Salée

For those who prefer to start the morning with something savory.

La Baronne Je Ne Sais Pas

A balanced combination of both worlds.

Just like the old days

Bread is baked fresh every morning in the castle's historic kitchen. Homemade yogurt, seasonal fruit, and carefully selected products bring the flavors of the past back to life.

Furthermore, those who wish may have an egg prepared to their liking.

In complete tranquility

Breakfast is served between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

Early birds can request a coffee from 7:30 AM to wake up peacefully.

Soft classical music and the view of the park ensure a relaxing start to the day.

For the road

Are you planning an excursion or your return journey?

A packed lunch can then be assembled from the remaining breakfast products, wrapped in the traditional red-and-white butcher-style wrapping of yesteryear.

Dietary requirements

Do you have an allergy, intolerance, or specific dietary wish?

Please feel free to mention this the evening before so that everything can be carefully prepared.

A breakfast with history

Your breakfast is prepared in the historic cellar kitchen of Château Morreau, where authentic elements from the Belle Époque have still been preserved. The castle's former electric refrigerator, presumably one of the oldest in Belgium, is also currently being restored.

As the scent of freshly baked bread wafts through the corridors, you will experience a breakfast just as Marianne could have served it more than a century ago.
